Life
is full of unique moments of beauty. Take these trees for example. It's as if their branches have grown in unison to create an archway under which one can walk - serving as if a celebratory procession of victory. Likewise, they remind me of the weeping willows that fill the streets of Savannah, GA, offering beauty to wedding days, birthdays, and even graceful sorrow-filled days where
loved ones who have gone before us are remembered. They represent the complexities and simplicities of life that reach out to us in the midst of everyday life. They represent the
grace of God that causes us to stop and pause and consider that life doesn’t have to be lived at a 90-mile-per-hour pace because if we slow down we can see the beauty of the simple and profound – the simply profound and the profound simplicities that echo in our environment, our minds, our hearts, and our lives.
May the grace of God surround you today as you recognize His presence. May the magnificence of all that He has created around you and within you - serve as an archway within your spirit, creating space, inviting peace, comfort, and contemplation for life’s unique moments of beauty that are all around.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27.
